Karen provides a welcoming atmosphere for clients and does what is needed to keep the office running smoothly.

She has 26 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, and worked for Bell companies in Virginia and New Jersey. She started her career as a long-distance operator, taking on new roles along the way in programming, accounts payable, payroll, accounting, corporate insurance and treasury. She retired from the industry in 1992.

Karen has been married to financial advisor Rick Fontana for nearly 30 years. They have two adult sons, Zach and Ken. She is active in the community and has served as a committee member for the Diabetes Center of New Jersey and a volunteer with Boy Scouts of America, where she received an award for exemplary services. She also offers a helping hand when needed at local schools and at her church.
